Hi, my name is Luke Edmiston. I am the owner-operator of my personal training business called Zest For Your Life.
I have always enjoyed playing and practising various sports including basketball, volleyball, rugby league and soccer.
As a teenager, I started using weights in my training programs to develop strength and speed.
In my early twenties, I focussed my sporting abilities on martial arts, studying many forms under different trainers. I developed a passion for kickboxing in particular because it is a complete martial art and a very effective form of self defence.
In 2013, while volunteering for 3 months in a rural village in Cambodia (www.crefweb.org), I had the invaluable opportunity to be trained by a highly regarded traditional Khmer kickboxing champion. This amazing experience resulted in a deeper commitment to attaining a healthy balanced lifestyle for myself and a strong desire to help others to achieve their own personal goals.
Some of my other interests include dancing, yoga, rock climbing and body surfing.
I offer individual and group sessions specialising in strength and conditioning, kickboxing, weight management and sports specific training.
