Our Story...
MARACCAS is a non-profit social enterprise.
On a full moon at a festival in Qld, A young Australian artist (Lilly) met a young Brazilian clown (Jonas) where we became captured by each other’s passions and dreams. We began to put our stories, experiences and creativity into form. Here, the MARACCAS community organization was born and our seed of inspiration began to grow and develop into a tall tree.
Our hope is to share liberating creative experiences with people from different communities all over the world. To sit under the shade of this enourmous tree together with people from all walks of life sharing stories, playing with creativity and inspiring a healthy and sustainable future.
We work with individuals, groups, schools, councils, universities and community organisations looking to activate and empower their communities through creative expression and active learning

Our Vision is to empower and inspire individuals and communities to lead vibrant, active and healthy lifestyles. Through arts practice we can create new possibilities and opportunities for growth and development and provide access to a new paradigm in which all people are equal, all people are free to express themselves and see themselves as limitless creative potential.
