Early morning on Saturday the 22nd of August a rainy and dark cloud brought uncertainty to this expected day of celebration. This was the reason that we all could not stop searching for a blue and clear gap to keep our hope in having a sunny day.

Dude believe or not it happened!

The sun is shinning after everything got set up!

I can say that Ancestors sent their light of love from all corners of the world to shine happiness and joy upon the heart of everyone who came to celebrate diversity at Perrin Park on that day. On the other hand the Ancestors perhaps were having a go with the emotions of living beings??

However, in any of these hyphotesis, they allowed us to have a fantastic atmosphere with people that came from these corners of the world. We from MARACCAS definetly recorded this day.

The video will show you the environment created by international and local volunteers who helped to put together again at Perrin Park in Toowong a day for multicultural celebration and acknowledgment.

We are already thinking on this day for next year. If you would like to join or support us to make happen this multicultural day at Perrin Park talk to us on the admin@maraccas.org.

I would love thank you everyone who contributed to make this festival happen.

With much gratitude, big hug! :)

Cheers.
